On Aug. 4, 2021, I presented new research on the panel “Newsroom Workers Unite” that was co-organized with colleagues Karin Assmann (University of Georgia), Will Mari (Louisiana State University), Jennifer Proffitt (Florida State University), Arien Rozelle (St. John Fisher College) and Carolina Miranda (The Los Angeles Times).

The panel was part of the 2021 Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Virtual Conference.

In my talk, I presented on why and how journalism workers have been organizing unions in the US since 2015.
